Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention & Control Policy

For

Amelias Closet, Nails & Beauty

All of us have been affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in different ways.

Amelias Closet have taken the time to work behind the scenes, conducting a full refurbishment in the salon to ensure that our new health and safety procedures can be fulfilled in the best way possible, to suit every individual client.

We have missed being able to offer you the treatments that we know you love and we are looking forward to seeing you again as soon as possible.

Our main priority is to keep you safe and prior to re-opening the salon we have implemented a number of changes which we would like to make you aware of.

We have completed the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention and Control course which is accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists Ltd, the UK trade body for our industry.

Visiting the Salon

We are not a shop front and we are appointment only, so we can effectively monitor visitors and clientele.

Upon arrival we ask that you use the hand sanitizer provided or the ground floor wash room facilities. Regus offices worldwide have remained open during the COVID-19 crisis and strict social distancing measures are in place. Accompanying adults or children will not be permitted to wait in the reception area from now on.

As professional therapists we always had to adhere to strict sanitation regimes on daily basis, however additional measures have been implemented to ensure your comfort and confidence in returning to Amelias Closet.

You will have access to soap and water to wash your hands with as soon as you enter the salon and we will also have hand sanitizer available for you to use.

You will be offered a complimentary facemask when you visit the salon and during your treatment where appropriate.

Your therapist will be wearing additional protective equipment (PPE) during your visit and during your treatment. This may include disposable gloves, facemasks or shields and aprons where applicable. Also, protective screens have been installed at our nail stations.

We can confirm that we will be using disposable towels in the salon for the foreseeable future and all disposable items will be bagged and safely removed from the treatment area between each client.

Also, any literature from the salon including treatment menus and aftercare advice leaflets has been removed.

This will all be available electronically after your appointment in accordance to General Data Protection Regulation

(GDPR)

Our treatments

We have carried out a risk assessment on all treatments and we are confident that we can continue to provide these safely with the appropriate PPE in place. Assessment available on request.

After the treatment

Our preferred method of payment can be made via Contactless (£50), Apple Pay, Gift Cards, Bank Transfer and via our website. Should cash be the only suitable method, we will only accept the new, easy clean notes.

All of these procedures have been implemented for the safety of yourself and the therapists. We will continue to take advice from the Government regarding safe practice and will amend them as necessary.

Thank you for your understanding.
